Don Cravens fotografa Elvis al Beverly Hills Wilshire Hotel, per il Life Magazine e il giorno dopo gli fa un’intervista sul set.
Il Colonnello ha dato disposizioni a Cravens di fare qualche scatto in più, che saranno utili per le prossime copertine dei dischi, tra cui quella del prossimo singolo “Are You Lonesome Tonight” e per il prossimo album gospel, programmato per ottobre “His Hand In Mine”

Nonostante gli studi spirituali di Elvis, le abitudini del gruppo non cambiano e sia il luna park che il cinema, vengono affittati quasi ogni sera. In una di queste sere Elvis guarda il film “Il Dott. Stranamore” con Peter Sellers, che rimarrà sempre uno dei suoi attori preferiti. Elvis guarda il film ben 5 volte.
I genere di film che Elvis vede in questi giorni spaziano da quelli biblici come “Il Re dei Re” e “La Tunica” a commedie come “Uno sparo nel buio” sempre con Peter Sellers fino ai classici come “La grande fuga” “Marnie” di Alfred Hitchcok e “big Parade Of Comedy”
