Dopo questo show, mentre è nella sua suite, Elvis scrive alcune note su un foglio di carta, con cui spiega il suo stato d’animo disperato.
Un addetto alle pulizie trova questi appunti nel cestino della carta straccia, che si trova nella sua camera.

Sul foglio c’è scritto:

“Certe volte mi sento così solo
Per me la notte è tranquilla
Vorrei poter dormire
Sono contento che ora tutti se ne siano andati
Probabilmente stasera non dormirò
Io non ho bisogno di tutto questo
Aiutami Signore.”

La sua calligrafia non è solo su quel foglio, ma anche su una parete della camera da letto!! .
