Nonostante il Colonnello abbia già organizzato un immediato ritorno di Elvis a fare concerti negli stadi, tutti gli altri sono più preoccupati per loro soldi. Dal canto suo Elvis non ha nessuna intenzione di modificare le sue abitudini di spendere mentre, dall’altra parte, il Colonnello non intende modificare il suo modo di spendere soldi, al gioco d’azzardo.

Oggi il Colonnello scrive a Pat Kellner della RCA Record Tours per far abbassare i costi dei tour e scrive: “Deve esserci un maggior controllo sui costi degli hotels, dei pullmans, dei camion e delle limousines, in modo da evitare spese doppie”.

Tornato a casa, Elvis va spesso al General Cinema di Whitheaven, per vedere “The Day Of The Locust” e “The Four Muskeeters”
